Summer Camp Program—1 1/2 visit

Fee: $5.00 per child

 

The summer camp program is made up of 2 age-appropriate modules and an agility demonstration that can be grouped together for different age groups.

 

Each module is a 1 1/2-hour visit by the Dogz R Uz team that introduces the basics of Safety Around Dogs and the responsibility of being a pet guardian

Responsibility of pet guardianship

Basic needs of a dog

Exercise

Agility

Tricks

Hands on with dogs

 

A second hour can be added for demonstrations of basic obedience commands, tricks and agility with our trainers dogs.

 

The summer camp program is customized to the specific camp offering the program and can be shortened or extended as required.

 

Basic Introduction to Safety Around Dogs and Basic Pet Care

Choose from the modules listed below for the age groups in your camp

 

                 Module I              - Ages 5-9

                 Module II             - Ages 10+

                

Agility Demonstrations & Competition

Students will watch an agility demonstration performed by competition agility dogs and their trainers. The students can than perform hands-on agility training themselves with the trainers and perform for their campmates.

 

Module I

Module I is aimed at children ages 5-9

The information given and  hands-on examples during the module is age-appropriate to the level of skills of the students in the module.

 

 

Module II

Module II is aimed at children ages 10 +

The information given and  hands-on examples during the module is age-appropriate to the level of skills of the students in the module.
