School Programs “Safety Around Dogs - Your Safety Begins with You” |

Lunch Program - Basic Level: 8 hours
Course Aim: To provide the child with the necessary skills to interact comfortably and safely with a dog. The theme will be “Safety Around Dogs - Your Safety Begins with You”
Course Outline: · Do’s and Don’ts of Behaviour around animals · How to approach a dog safely and responsibly · How to recognize friendly, angry, aggressive, and frightened dogs · How to feed your dog properly · How to water your dog properly · How to play responsibly with your dog · Tricks to do with your dog
Students ages 6 and up can go on to complete the Pet Guardian Certificate by taking the Intermediate and Advanced Levels.
